Central to British folk-rock, FC began as California soundalikes before Sandy Denny asserted her traditional folk chops on tracks like “A Sailor’s Life,” her own “Who Knows Where the Time Goes” and covers of basement Dylan. Richard Thompson’s guitar provides nimble support.
