Icon of Colten! I struggled with colors for the lighting a bit on this one. I think the background turned out kinda rad.

I take commissions for icons like this, if anyone is interested, please DM me.

San Diego Zoo Welcomes Rare Fossa Triplets | Africanews

With an estimated 2,500 fossas left in the wild, they are classified as vulnerable. Conservationists hope that successful births like this one will help raise awareness and support for safeguarding Madagascar’s unique wildlife.

Meet the fossa (Cryptoprocta ferox)! Despite its catlike appearance, this critter is actually a close relative of the mongoose. It’s also the largest carnivore on #Madagascar, growing up to 22 lbs (10 kg) and measuring up to 72 in (183 cm) long. This solitary critter’s diet includes fish, birds, and lemurs. When aggravated, this critter can release a pungent odor from its scent glands, which it also uses to mark its territory and attract mates.

Fossá ist der höchste Wasserfall der Färöer. Mit seinen etwa 140 Metern Fallhöhe teilt er sich in zwei Kaskaden, die sich an einer dunklen Basaltwand herabstürzen.

Fanart of animalization of King Agag (character of actor Jeremy Xido) from the series House of David.

Here he is depicted as a Madagascar fossa in a style close to the cartoon called Madagascar. #art #drawing #fanart #traditionaldrawing #pencildrawing #pendrawing #markersdrawing #sketch #myart #mydrawing #animal #animalform #animalization #fossa #cryptoproctaferox #Madagascar #houseofdavid #agag #kingagag #рисунок #мойрисунок

Rare fossa cubs were born in a Paris zoo as wild numbers shrink in Madagascar.

Three fossa cubs have been born – a rare event for one of Madagascar’s most elusive and endangered mammals.

The births offer a small but important boost to conservation efforts for a species that few people have ever seen, and which is disappearing fast in the wild.
