Quick follow-up for anyone doing a power steering fluid flush: don’t run the reservoir low. The pump gulps air fast, then you get foam and whining (cavitation). If it happens, stop and bleed it properly.

I knocked out a power steering fluid flush on the FJ and it was almost peaceful, right up until I realized I had nothing to cap the return port. Improvised. Spilled some. Learned a lot.
