Binoviewers for #telescopes make the #Moon exciting again. However, they can be frustrating to choose and use. In this mega-review video, I try out three different priced models on three telescope types.

Here's my latest image. Captured from my neighbor's backyard (because this target doesn't clear the trees from my house). Messier 8 (The Lagoon Nebula), Messier 20 (The Trifid Nebula), and M21 (an open star cluster). My Elephant trunk nebula #photo from a few months ago. Shot on a QHY183m camera and some #Antlia narrowband filters all mounted to my #explorescientific #telescope. I ended up shooting this over several weekends to get enough data, about 12ish hours. Since it was monochrome, I ended up assigning my narrowband (Oiii, Sii, Ha) into a SHO style palette, in place of RGB to create a hubble style color image 👏 Honestly this was a ton of fun, and I can’t wait to shoot more narrowband stuff!
Dropping this again because I forgot my #alttext 😭 sorry y’all
