Yeah, I read this. Utterly ridiculous. These are people who would outlaw public displays of the Palestinian flag and wearing kufiyas if they could. Hell, they would probably try to outlaw use of the words genocide and holocaust unless they are used in specific reference to Nazi atrocities committed against Jews during WWII. It blows my mind how weaponized the antisemitism cudgel has become. I can't find it now, but there was a recent Guardian column noting how naming the crimes and atrocities being committed against Palestinians is more vilified than committing the crimes themselves. We are witnessing historical erasure in real time.
