When using a computer to view Mastodon I use Elk.zone nearly exclusively.
The application just works and the choices for the UI/UX make the experience easy and pleasant with little friction. Thank you to all who have made Elk a great client.

why should I install the #elkzone app if I can run it via browser? tried it, but I don't see the advantages instead of having one more app @elk

Forgive my gushing, but I'm just loving #Elk / #ElkZone / https://elk.zone / @elk

Based on preliminary testing, I'd be totally comfortable with this as my main interface (at least on faster machines, as I'm fond of daily driving 10+ year old thinkpads from time to time XD) for GtS, and I wouldn't miss the Mastodon web UI.
