A good couple of hours this morning in Split Oak Forest Wildlife Area, Parks On The Air site US-6324.
The Elecraft KH-1 was giving 2.5 watts into a Tufteln EFHW in a less than vertical configuration, but it worked out just fine. Only had a couple of weak stations but worked everyone just fine.

I had an awesome afternoon on Saturday doing a CW activation of CA-5095 Central Experimental Farm NHS here in Ottawa, for Support Your Parks weekend. I used my Gabil GRA-7350TC vertical and my Elecraft KH1. I put 32 stations in the log in a bit under 1.5 hours. #pota #qrp #ElecraftKH1

It was a beautiful afternoon on the summit of Little Whiteface Mtn in the Adirondacks. It is too bad that band conditions were not better. It was a struggle to make three P2P QSOs but I did work WY, MO and KS operating as VA2NB/W2. #pota #qrp #ElecraftKH1

That thing when you've ordered a radio after having had a go with one at the launch event. You know you should have ordered one there an then but held off; I probably have another 5 months to wait till I get it.
