That thing when you've ordered a radio after having had a go with one at the launch event. You know you should have ordered one there an then but held off; I probably have another 5 months to wait till I get it.
But then I can look enviously at the the #ElecraftKH1 photos as people post them.

Some years ago, I was p*sed off when ICOM did a big advertising campaign for the #IC705 at a time when that rig could not yet be bought. They simply hadn't put it on the market yet. But there was no mention of that fact in the ads. A "preorder now!" somewhere in the fine print, or anything of that sort? No.

In the end, I ended up buying it anyway, for it is a good rig for what I want (with a few minor problems). But the advertisement delayed my purchase by several months.
