Il gioiello passò da donna a donna, da epoca a epoca. Ma il significato rimase lo stesso: non si possiede la Panthère. È la Panthère che ti possiede

What British people who still support the institution of monarchy should think about is this: Andrew may only be 8th in line to the throne now; but up until William was born he was 2nd.
Charles was in his 30s before he even married.
All it would have taken is a fatal accident or illness - or an abdication as with Edward VIII - and Andrew would have become the heir.
King Andrew - imagine that.

@EdwinG I thought that was probably what you were thinking.
The head alternates direction for each new reign. (But they skipped #EdwardVIII, as he abdicated before coins with his head went into circulation.)
The ones I know about so far are:
1. Hyndland Road, Hyndland.
2. Great George Street, Hillhead.
3. Crown Road South, Hyndland.
4. Nithsdale Road, Pollokshields.
5. Albert Drive/Herriot Street, Polloksheids.
6. Clarkston Road
7. Leslie Road by Titwood Park, Pollokshields.
8. Aros Drive, Mosspark.
9. Cartside St. at Sinclair Dr.
10. Millroad Street at Abercromby Street, Calton.
The 10th Edward VIII post box I've located in Glasgow. It's on Millroad Street, and is the first I've come across in the East End. There were 26 such post boxes installed in Glasgow during his brief 325 day reign (more than any other city in Britain), so there's potentially 16 more to find.

Another of Glasgow's Edward VIII pillar boxes. This one is on Crown Terrace in the West End. Twenty six such boxes were installed in the city during the 326 days Edward VIII was on the throne, which one source claims was more than anywhere else, but I'm not convinced this is actually correct. As far as I can track down, six of these 26 remain in place today.
