The dining table today, because it is World Postcard Day! I send a few Postcrossing cards to India, the USA, Russia and Germany and cards to friends and my niece. But the day isn't over yet! So I will write a few more and post them tomorrow...

Also, I recently found out that you can follow Postcrossing in the Fediverse!: @[email protected]

Some recent outgoing and incoming postcards! Most of these were for/from Postcrossing, but the one with the raven (illustration by Susan Seddon Boulet), which was actually a charity shop find, was for a friend. Where I live now my local charity shop sadly doesn't seem to have any postcards, but where I lived previously there was one with such a good collection! I can imagine that unused postcards get thrown away a lot, but especially when it's such a unique illustration it is kinda sad. This one just seemed like it was meant for the friend I send it to!

The incoming postcard was also a lovely surprise. It is always interesting to see what sort of postcard people will send you or what they will write, but every now and then someone adds a little surprise, like some stationary, stamps (which I collect) or tea, and it is one of those small things that can make my day just a little brighter.
