Ariadnethank you @thebeeguy for the work you are doing with and for native #bees. They are extraordinarily important to so many #ecosystems, but are undervalued - well, not even noticed - by most people. When people hear the word bee, I would venture 99% or more think apis mellifera the #EHB i.e. European Honeybee i.e. the commercially valuable bee. But native bees are so much more crucial and critical to #Earth!
I am so happy I ran across your account, thanks to a boost by someone I follow. My only regret is that I only found it today, and missed your earlier buzz (couldn't resist that one). Long ago, as a graduate student, I worked at the USDA national bee lab in Arizona. I have been in love with bees, especially native bees, ever since.
