#KTM Berhad (#KTMB) is posting a #notice to the public about the move of #railway #station

The Kempas Baru Station will move to a new location from 6 February 2024

The new location is the new station that is built for the electrified double-tracking project (#EDTP), while the overall work is not fully done yet, the station is ready for use and the #train will run on the new #track

#Johor has identified three #LightRailTransit (#LRT) lines that stretches for 30km in and around #JohorBaru.

A development study had been previously conducted by the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (#IRDA) and Johor Public Transport Corporation (#PAJ).

The study proposed that the LRT should be developed to complement the #RTSLink which is slated to be completed by early 2027.

The system will also complement the #EDTP and the #BRT.

State identifies three LRT lines for Johor Baru

ISKANDAR PUTERI: Johor has identified three light rail transit (LRT) lines that stretches for 30km in and around Johor Baru.

The Star

ETS service was extended from Ipoh to Butterworth and Butterworth to Padang Besar on 10 July 2015. On 10 October 2015, ETS service was extended from KL Sentral to Gemas (restoring the connection to Seremban).

Construction is currently ongoing for track upgrade (electrified double track project / #EDTP) between Gemas and JB Sentral to allow ETS go up to Johor Bahru, the city at the border of Malaysia-Singapore.

Upon completion, you can use ETS from end to end on west coast peninsular Malaysia.
