ECSA 2026 Conference Oulu | 3-6 March Let's celebrate citizen science together at the 6th European Citizen Science Association (ECSA) conference in Northern Finland. The theme of the 2026 conference was Citizen Science bridging Centre and Periphery. This theme highlighted the diversity across regions, from urban metropolitan hubs to remote northern and southern spaces. It explored citizen science’s vital connections to sustainability, culture, history, political and legal systems, resources, public health and more. Konference opět potvrdila, že občanská věda se posouvá od jednotlivých projektů k systematickému přístupu napříč Evropou.

Silná byla i česká a slovenská stopa – představili jsme Platformu CZ/SK citizen science a zapojili se do diskusí o fungování národních sítí. 🇨🇿 🇸🇰

❄️ ECSA 2026 – Den 4 | Oulu

Poslední den konference přinesl další workshopy, panely a kulaté stoly. Závěrečnou keynote přednesla spisovatelka a bývalá první dáma Islandu Eliza Reid, která mluvila o síle komunitního zapojení a o tom, že změna často začíná ochotou zapojit se. 💚

Během závěrečného ceremoniálu bylo také oznámeno, že ECSA 2028 se uskuteční v Lisabonu 🇵🇹

Konferenci pak uzavřel veřejný Citizen Science Festival. 🤩
