I know there are at least some of you here on Mastodon that live with EDS and/or POTS so maybe someone could chime in if they have any advice. Mainly I'm curious if anyone has an experience with hypovolemia that suddenly seems to become persistent. Of course, there's no definitive Dx that hypovolemia is what's going on its the most logical POTS mechanism for what I'm dealing with (I do have POTS and EDS Dx). Generally I'll hit a point where I just don't feel thirsty anymore and the decline leads to a UC or ER visit for saline IV and after that I come home and just feel like drinking Pedialyte constantly which is a good thing but right now it seems like I'm abruptly falling back into the pre-fluids state in only a couple days and I don't know why. I can't afford frequent IVs because US healthcare sucks. I'm not sure what to do. Anyone have any tips?

Urgent care is often worthless but this was exceptionally bad with a doctor yelling while I was having a panic attack. Thank God for the nurse who actually was able to calm me down but doctor did nothing but give me pills to take a home which I already have (a higher dose) at home. Tried to just bear it and drive home but things are getting worse. I just need a damn IV.... So here I sit at the ER.
