The disconnection between local government and the local transit authorities is apparent.

The local government does a bunch of labor clearing streets after our winter weather, they however fail to consider public transit. See the photo with a four foot ridge of snow between the sidewalk and the road where you would enter a bus.

Have a dedicate bus stop clearing group. It needs equipment operators. Not just shovels.

Words uttered this morning:
Spring snow, not to be confused with summer snow or fall snow

Just got back from a hike by the St.Louis River, its in the 50F temp range, it didn't even require a coat, just a t-shirt.

Oh joy, the power is flickering, could it be the immense ice build up on the trees and power lines? #NorthernMN #DuluthMN

In tiresome local news #duluthmn there are companies trying to make #drones mixed with #aislop for likely military applications. Because old mines and pit mines are testing areas people won't object to. But also #LakeSuperior offers good extremes for cold weather testing.

It feels like the City of #DuluthMN should issue ice cleats to everyone trying to use the public transit. Climbing the snow and ice mountain between the sidewalk and the street needs more than shoes or boots.

A reasonable alternative would be having a cleanup crew with a backhoe putting notches into the snow banks where bus stops are... Should just be part of plowing...

Contemplating the goodness of Public Transit on my bus ride and wondering why the City of #DuluthMN doesn't have a crew devoted to clearing bus stops. It is impossible to expect citizens to clear the 1m cubed snow/ice to allow bus stops to function. How do the Nordic countries handle this?
When you get a foot of snow overnight, and its drifting to three feet, to clear the roads, especially hills, industrial equipment seems to be the answer. #DuluthMN #snow
When city is using the road graders as plows... Stay home, make a warm drink, read a book. #DuluthMN #minnesota #winterstorm
