Duane Michals, a son of Slovak immigrants who went from McKeesport Technical High School to exhibitions in some of the world’s greatest art galleries, has died. He was 94.
Although he had lived in New York City since the 1960s, Michals' thoughts were never far from McKeesport, which was featured in many of his works.
