Proof of concept. With this kind of snow, you can roll your way to a clear driveway. I rolled almost to the end of the driveway*, and then back toward the house. It didn't pick up all the snow, but it's easier to shovel a couple of inches than 8 or 10 per shovel-full. *The very end of the driveway is the slush from the trucks clearing the road.
It's just as tiring as shoveling, but more fun and challenging.

Mount driveway is getting a little high for throwing snow over and I've already pushed the top backwards a few times. But now those layers are frozen hard and don't move anymore.
