Come on #DotNetRocks, you can go past episode 2027 with what will happen in the future according to #SciFi
In last weeks #DotNetRocks, they discussed #musical metaphors for #AI
Here's mine:
Visual Studio (Code) is my 2 turntables and a microphone and Copilot is my 5 milk crates of LPs.
@devlead @dotnet @bot Ever since I heard what you plan to do with that Cake SDK and file-based apps on #dotnetrocks, this is my most anticipated talk at this year's #dotnetconf. I won't be able to watch it live but three hours later. I hope I'll still be able to ask questions. (We are in the same time zone, it seems).

Celebrating the release of .NET 10 today 🎉

#dotnet #dotnetConf #dotnetRocks

After listening to the #dotnetrocks episode I was on, which was released today, I can still hear my speech impediment. That is why I speak more slowly and with pauses. I have been asked why I do that, or assumed I am not smart.

If you're experiencing this issue, like I am, keep going and have confidence!

@carlfranklin
I just listened to the new #DotNetRocks show and in the beginning you talked about people are saying things but not sure who is doing things. I came to think about a nuget package a friend of mine created years ago called Emphasize. You should check it out at https://www.nuget.org/packages/Emphasize/ or the project site on GitHub https://github.com/dillenmeister/Emphasize.
Emphasize 1.2.0

For when you need to express yourself more clearly

I heard on a recent #dotnetrocks that someone did an Advent of Code one year entirely in Rockstar!

Anyone fancy doing the second album?..

Day 1 - Advent of Code 2024

I wonder if there is a language similar to #Bicep, but compiles to an #AzureDevOps #YAML #Pipeline?
The idea came to me as I am listening to #DotNetRocks #1921
@carlfranklin , @richcampbell; I'm looking forward to the Current Year episode of #DotNetRocks in 2026 or so.
.NET Rocks! The Open Source Maintenance Fee with Rob Mensching

Open Source Maintainers are burning out or going commercial - how do we solve this? Carl and Richard chat with Rob Mensching about his work to create the open source maintenance fee through GitHub. Rob talks about the common problem of single maintainers getting buried under issues and demands of consumers for a project. Recognizing that most people cannot contribute to the project, a maintenance fee helps support the maintainer in a low friction way for everyone involved. Check out the links to get started!
