Thinking about my day today as I’ve been preparing my dinner. Started with a few stern words to myself for being a doofus early today when I took the dogs for a walk. Crazy excitable little Ozy was bouncing all over the place this morning & it took around 5 minutes to get his harness on, even little old Coco was excited & I’m trying to organise them & myself to get out of the house. Finally get out & shut the door & halfway down the road realise I’ve left my phone behind. I think to myself it’s ok, who needs a phone just to go for a walk. Well half an hour later I realise I do because the house key is sitting with the phone 😳🙄🥴. There is a back entrance to the house that has a keypad entry & over the years of doing this sit I’ve used it just twice 😬. Now I’m sure I remember what the code is, but as I walk doubts creep in & I’m wondering if I’m remembering it correctly or not & know I only get three goes. So the rest of the walk is what the hell will I do if I screw it up which would involve two friends & 3 phone calls 🤦🏼‍♀️. Anyway I get back to the sit & put the code in & it doesn’t work. I try one more time & it’s right. I will never ever forget this code - it’s tattooed onto my aging brain 😁.
Panics over & I settle the dogs back at home & head to the local IGA for dark chocolate & wine for me for this evening 😬. #Doofus #SeniorMoments #WorkingItOut
