CalligrafaeCrocheted with polyester sewing thread using a vintage doily pattern, with three strands of thread per row to achieve graduating colours. It measures about 36.5cm.

You can use this as decoration on a table-top or shelf, or some people I've sold these to have actually framed them and hung them on the wall :)

SalOne of my first doily projects needed a wash and reblocking. It sat for awhile, but I finally got a burst of motivation to complete the project. A good hour and a half well spent. I'm inspired to start another doily. I started a bucket hat and am not happy with the progress. Doilies are so repetitive and meditative, I can think through other patterns while I work on a bonus project! So many to choose from. The hunt is on.
