I don't know how to impart the knowledge of how I use my senses in identifying lace and other things. I don't think its possible.😅

Identifying real crochet lace and tatted lace is possible and important.
If you see it in a store with a price tag on it and the price is too low, its either fake crochet/tatting, or it was made in a sweatshop. (There's a lot of sweatshop tatting...)
Becoming familiar with these types of lace can help in identifying sweatshop Brands.

I’ve just finished a long ongoing project to make a diagonally divided kerchief with tatted lace. In my humble opinion it turned out basically perfect.

I intend to use it with my #bäckadräkten

It’s got a side for everyday and fancy day wearing (you decide which one you like most) and can also be worn as a miparti.

You can actually make your own #tatting shuttle.🤔 So it is a fiber craft, that you could do almost anywhere, even if you're dropped in the wilderness with nothing but an old sock to unravel and a stiff leaf.

If I didn't have a pencil and paper, I could even tat a message to those that find my bones. "food lost in storm, radio dead, throw remains in ocean. Don't read my fanfiction." I'd probably need to re-learn cursive.. xD
