When I look back at how I became a fan of Suranne Jones, it's an odd one. It was entirely accidental. In 2019, I wanted to watch The Affair for Ruth Wilson, but Netflix didn't have it, and it suggested Doctor Foster to me instead.
I had actually seen her as Idris in Doctor Who many years before that, and I remember really liking that episode and her character, so it was easy to just go, "Oh, why not?"
Well. I absolutely fell for her in Doctor Foster. 🥵
