Carl S. GutekunstThis one's interesting. It's kinda borderline as a red or amber: not enough malt, too much hops, especially in the (quite bitter) finish. My son characterized it as a pale ale. But to me it's a dead ringer for Tied House's amber, which I considered their best beer. It's pricey: $4.50 each for these tall cans at Trader Joe's, the same as Stone Arrogant Bastard. But what price is there on memories? 🙂
