#WritersCoffeeClub Sep 4. Do you have specific goals when creating a scene?

One, yes. Keep following the characters and make sure to get all the details down. That's it.

NaNoWriMo: Preparation / The Business / The Blog | The Born Angel Universe

Welcome to another National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMO) blog! I’m writing this series as a bit of preparation for November, and today I’m going to tell you how I, a Plantster (half planning, half flying by the seat of my pants) and Discovery Writer prepare for NaNoWriMo in 7 steps.

Okay. Finally have to admit, as I do every Summer, that my brain cannot cope with the heat.
My productivity is down and I am seriously considering resorting to “planning” (not ‘plotting’) my novel. I have written many in the past using my “discovery” method and had no issues, but as I age it seems to get worse each year.
Sometimes, you have to adapt to what’s best for your creativity, and not dig your heels in so much.

Writing a book for me is like building a spaceship while flying it. You have to troubleshoot so many problems and just hope you won't blow up.

I finished another chapter in my book, and I have plans for what will be happening next. Yay! #Pantser #DiscoveryWriter #Writer #Plantser #Writing #WIP
