Die Serie steht unter dem Motto #BassCultures, aber wie schon letzen Samstag ist es genau so sehr #DrumCultures.

Und #TheDholFoundation ist übrigens auch super. Sehr gute Kombination aus verschiedenen Folktraditionen (gerade eine #Irish #Fiddle), mit Elektro und einer Rockbasis, und 4 #dhol Trommeln.

In #Berlin and unsure where to go tonight?

#HKW has another one of their relaxed #OpenAir concerts from the #SonicPluriverse series coming up at 7pm. Ticket prices are relatively moderate, 23 Euros for 2 bands, playing from 7-10pm. All followed by a DJ set that's free.

Tonight it's an interesting line-up: #Novalima are mixing #AfroPeruvian traditions & #eletronic #music. 2nd act #TheDholFoundation is combining #Sikh #dhol drums with sounds from elsewhere & #bhangra.

Played three #baraat s this weekend including one at the Colorado Singh Sabha which is always a honor. More and more grooms prefer riding the route in souped up cars instead of on a horse, which is fine except it means I’m seeing less of my friend Jeannyne the horse handler. Either way, three beautiful days in awesome #colorado settings with dancing and celebrating to my beats. What a privilege.
