I don't think you can say that about every single person or every independent school.
For example my wife and I went to independent schools and we don't have a good conceit of ourselves. We treat everyone with equal respect. We abhor rank and privilege. We are #republican. We #DetestToryValues. We are, I guess, #socialdemocrats.
There are dreadful entitled folk who went to state schools too. Ruth Davidson springs to mind.
@Saraj Another impact of Tory cuts to local government funding but also the downgrading of the quality of repairs required (again by the Tories) which means even the roads that are repaired very soon gall apart again. The Tories have destroyed the UK just to fund their friends who then off-shore the money.
