@raucao if it were me strategically I’d make the same choice.
Like one _could_ design a system with explicit extension or interop goals but then you are tightly coupled to that other system.
There are at least half a dozen less adopted #DecentSocial protocols that also don’t do AP interop.
I registered last minute for #DecentSocial then insomnia intervened and I missed it anyway.
I'm browsing the hashtag looking for longform posts on the event, recaps, etc.. If this post finds you first and you wrote one, please reply with a link below so I can read it and share.

@[email protected] I find it useful to be able to track engagement per view. It can help inform best times to tweet/toot, what kinds of posts are more successful and which aren't. How soon to post a reply, whether replies lead to more engagement and so on. But top priority for Mastodon should be searchability.
