Gestern angefangen mit #Deadwind auf #Netflix. Und bis jetzt gefällt mir die Serie auch wenn es meines Erachtens einige Logiklöcher gibt.

Deadwind: Created by Rike Jokela, Kirsi Porkka, Jari Olavi Rantala. With Pihla Viitala, Lauri Tilkanen, Mimosa Willamo, Noa Tola. When Sofia Karppi discovers the body of a young woman on a construction site, she triggers a chain of events that threatens to destroy her life--again.
I don’t know how realistic #Deadwind is in terms of procedure.
They seem to bring in SWAT at the drop of a hat, and the teams seem very capable but miss things like the fact that a building has rooftop access.
Meanwhile there’s no discipline at crime scenes (booties, gloves) and the investigations seem completely random—timelines? Known associates?—and interrogations careless and incomplete.
I think detectives from Homicide or Major Crimes would clear these cases without breaking stride.
If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery then Vena Sud should be very flattered by the Finnish series #Deadwind.
I haven’t seen Sud’s original series but her English language remake, The Killing, and the similarities between it and Deadwind are getting more glaring with each episode. They’ve even copied some of the flaws, like people who steal maps and include the made up features.
Yesterday i finished #Deadwind Season 3 on Netflix
A good send off for Nurmi and Karrpi
