We went to Templo Mayor museum one day - pretty darn amazing museum and excavation right smack dab in the middle of the bustling historic center and Zocalo.
In the bright sunlight (and was starting to get hot) the workers there made an interesting sight. Outside there was evidence of the impending world cup.

More pics from Mercado Jamaica - what an amazing place/market for flowers and also all kinds of other stuff - like fruit!! And I can't get enough of markets - we went to La Viga too that day* so one from La Viga too! (I do need to add to that thread - went to a 3rd mercado Medellin that day)

Mostly I started looking at the camera pics from the wedding we had gone to in Mexico. I did look at those pics first so I could get at least a few to the family/groom who invited us. Can't share most of those but this pic of the 2 am mariachi band came out well! (More later)

Finally - after 2 weeks - transferred pics from camera sd card to computer (from Mexico trip)
Went through and deleted some - need to delete more, but quite happy with many. Will have to go through and edit crop etc - will do that edit ̶a̶n̶o̶n̶ ̶ a few at a time, see 🧵 👇🏽

Picked up some bottles to take back home to Pittsburgh - things I'd not get there. Mezcal, Raicilla and some others. Really enjoyed the conversation at El Liquor Store and the samlings/tastings as I considered what to buy (bottle/glass weight was a factor for bottle 4 and 5...) Many props to the guy there who gave me a roll of bubble wrap too when he rang me up.
(I did bring bubble wrap with me but not enough...)

A much more relaxed day, night today as we wind down. A 1.6 km walk at 9:30 pm to the park. CDMX is lovely and walkable + lots of motivation to walk.
The always fresh hot churros at El Moro are so good! 10/10
