PhoenixSerenitySeveral of us in #Saanich are upset about this. We don't know how feds got away w/violating protection of garry oak trees in #CuthbertHolmes & #ColquitzRiver #SaanichParks. Cuthbert Holmes park has a covenant from orginal donor - park is to be perpetually protected & no old growth trees or any garry oaks cut. They clearcut a few hillsides. Hardly any salmon came through river since ecosystem was destroyed. I'm trying to get some answers from municipal government.
