Ortwin PinkeDen Netzwerkdrucker von Brother über das Wlan einzubinden hat Mint mit Fehlermeldung, wohl von Cups, verweigert.
Geholfen hat die Installation der von Brother auf der Supportseite als deb-Paket zur Verfügung gestellten Treiber.
Nun funktioniert der Drucker, und die Frau ist glücklich.

As seen in https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/papers/-/issues/564, Evince had hacks on top of GTK's print dialog. Papers won't do that as it's unsustainable & it won't work with sandboxing.
