Dragons, Regression magic, heroes falling over untied shoelaces... Set 3’s Ren Faire really was the place where every “brave adventurer” ended up two feet shorter and three levels squeakier.

Become the hero… or at least the smallest bard at the Faire 😉 Set 3 is available! https://littletroubles.com/products/sealed-cards-booster-boxes-complete-sets-premium-packs?variant=42499155492912

Hello! I am wobbachu! Here, MewishArtist!
I love making art, animation, games, and music! Have a sample of some of my arts I have!

For anyone new around these parts, just a reminder that we use hashtags here!!

Until projects like Fediscovery really take off, discovering other users is done, well, by the users. We don't have algorithms or recommendation engines on the Fediverse. If you use hashtags, it greatly increases your reach. You can also follow hashtags here!

Intro posts benefit a lot from having #Intro and #Introduction hashtags on them, for example.  I also personally follow the #ABDL and #Babyfur hashtags, which makes posts tagged with them show up on my feed.  If you're posting art or stories, you should definitely include a hashtag for what content is featured in it.

Additionally, you should check out the CubHub local feed to see what's going on with other users on the server (and if you're not on CubHub, your server should also have its own local feed to check out).

A #Mastodon #Cubhub question:

Why does the logo to the right say "Ruffy"?

My hotttt take Is … ok word bad … is the word a slur ? No ok then all done 🤣

Something that I've seen come up several times that is probably useful to point out to #NewUsers, especially here on #CubHub

You do not need to make an after-dark account here.

You certainly can, but there is very likely no need. So many of you are used to Twitter's binary way of having an account that is either completely locked or completely unlocked. That is very much not the case here; you have a lot of control over each post rather than relying on broad account privacy settings. Protected accounts can still make public posts, and unlocked accounts can still make private posts.

A couple of things to remember:

  • Unlike on Twitter, making your account "protected" does not change the visibility of your posts; all it does is give you the power to approve or deny follow requests instead of just letting everyone follow you. You can still post stuff that everyone can see; they just can't follow you unless you allow it.
  • Content warnings are standard practice, so if you're self-conscious about something just stumbling across someone's timeline, put a content warning over it!
  • You can change each individual post you make to control who sees it; if you want to set a post so that only your followers can see it, you can!
  • As a last resort, you can set a post so that only people on your own instance can see it. I say that's a last resort because - especially here on CubHub - if you do that, in means that even people on "sister" instances (for example, abdl.link and babyfurs.social) won't be able to see your post.
  • Finally, remember that the moderators here on Mastodon aren't useless like they are on Twitter. If you post a visible post and someone harasses you, report it!

I'm not trying to discourage anyone from making a separate after-dark account if that makes them feel safer about posting certain content; all I'm trying to do is spare you a bit of effort so that you don't put the extra work into maintaining a separate account that you don't really need. <3

A reminder to all the new babs here on Cubhub: you can create posts with Markdown here. That means you can do bold text, italic text, linked text, and a few other things.

To enable markdown in your posts, you can do it (in the default web browser) by clicking on the "content type" button in the post editor and changing it to "Markdown." An important note: Markdown is not supported by most Mastodon mobile apps, and not every instance supports it. It works on Cubhub, but not everywhere. The reasons for that are technical and best left to others to explain; I'm just setting the expectation.

THAT SAID, a lot of mobile apps will still render your markdown if you go into your account settings (in browser) and set markdown as your default post type. Go to Preferences > Other > Default format for toots, then set "Markdown" as the default option.

If you're unfamiliar with markdown syntax, here's an easy cheat sheet.
