max 🃏Konnte nun endlich auch selbst mal eine Partie #CthulhuWars spielen. Eins der Spiele, bei dem man gegen Spielerfahrung keine Chance hat. Dafür sollte man alle Fraktionen kennen. War trotzdem eine launige Runde mit Tabletalk, ähnlich wie #Root & Co aber nicht meine Kragenweite. #Brettspiele

@The_Asshat thanks and good luck with yours! My big multi player game, and my first KS, was #CthulhuWars , it will be finally fully delivered this year ! I didn’t want to go further with #Scythe as with 5 players it was good enough for me. Then in 2020 I decided to stop KS - still some exceptions (like #TinyEpicCthulhu 🥰 I couldn’t resist)

@ralex very nice. I would be interested by other examples of your #CthulhuWars painted minis. (I have seen one game painted , very nicely , a work of art on the table, but I thought it was sometimes reducing the readability of the game, mainly because of the colours which didn’t help indentifying the factions quickly anymore.

PatrickMy first play of Cthulhu Wars. I was the Crawling Chaos faction, led by Nyarlathotep, whose main power is the ability to fly so my units could quickly get around the map. Other powers, gained by unlocking spell books, let me remove enemy units from battle by making them go invisible or (presumably) flying off with them. It felt like Blood Rage without the card play. I look forward to exploring different factions!
