@gleick I can’t even imagine the terror and rage her parents must have felt when they realized she was “missing.”

When something happens to your child the worst case scenarios flash through your mind immediately—what if? what if? what if?

And then to learn that she’s been taken against her will —and without any sort of justification—to another country!

How would you come to grips with that?
