A new project tonight for a bit of variety - I bought a pack of yarn from Aldi reduced to £2.99; I love the colours and wanted something that would work up quickly.
So a shawl seemed a good way of meeting both criteria.

I've returned to a past project to push it forward
Star shawl/lap blanket, made from recycled yarn (King Cole Epping Forest) and repurposed yarn from a jumper dress which Young'un decided she didn't want (the darker gold)
It's a bit repetitive to work on, inevitably, but the effect is pretty good

Crocheting myself a jumper from Sirdar Jewelspun yarn in two colourways; Midnight Fjords and Northern Lights.
Nearly finished the second sleeve!
Started in September but I put it aside for several weeks while making a baby blanket for a colleague, so it's not taken long really.
Am sketching plans for a Triceratops hat for a friend's little boy and have a pile of blanket squares to put together too. #CrochetOnSaturday
