I watched a show a few days ago with Bruce Springsteen, he sang "Rhinestone Cowboy" written and originally performed by Glen Campbell. Springsteen did a decent job, but now the song is stuck in my head. I'm stuck on the lyrics "There's been a load of compromising, on the road to my horizon ... ", there's a lot of insight in those words.

It speaks of the decisions we've made over the years that formed our lives. Not all decisions were the right decisions, or at least it seemed so at the time. But every decision, good and bad, led us to where we are now.
