Found a little dancing spider orchid (#Corybas acuminatus) in the bush.

This is a month and a half earlier than the one I found last year, but it hasn’t yet come into its mature form with a flower and spider legs.

A rather delicate dancing spider orchard (#Corybas acuminatus) sleeping on a bed of moss. This is a native #Aotearoa #orchid . First time I’ve seen one! I’d stopped to get a photo of the moss and then noticed what appeared to be a spider or crane fly waving at me.
