How do you get 7 year old boys interested in learning #scientific facts and the periodic table? By writing a comic book about yourself hanging around graveyards talking to the corpses of famous scientists - obviously!

To say I was wary when son begged to spend his Xmas money on a secondhand copy of this book is an understatement...but he was glued to it for 3 hrs straight today!

Any recommendations for similarly ‘gross’ reading for the <10’s welcomed.
