Already on Monday, the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee started its 2026 session. This morning, the Space Mission Planning Advisory Group started its meeting. At #SMPAG, Space Agencies meet and discuss planetary defence, i. e. how to react in case a Near-Earth Object threatens to hit our planet. Heute endet die diesjährige Sitzung des Rechtsunterausschuss des UN-Weltraumausschusses. In den letzten zwei Wochen wurde in Wien viel diskutiert und intensiv verhandelt, unter anderem der von DEU initiierte Vorschlag eine "Study Group on legal and policy aspects of space traffic" einzurichten. Es war mir eine Ehre und eine Freude, daran mitzuwirken.
