@AlanSill As many of my colleagues expressed today, Canada's National Research Computing Infrastructure would look very different today without Greg's contribution. The structure he helped to create during his time at #ComputeCanada still lives on under the Alliance.
We truly miss him.

This is just gut-wrenching!
I know @gbnewby from his time as CTO of #ComputeCanada during a time where we went from having thirty-plus #HPC clusters of various sizes in >20 data centres to having only four big systems in as many data centres.

My thoughts go out to Greg and his family and I wish them all the strength they need in such a difficult time!
