Ah yes, brew upgraded some ssl-related .so file and broke the python binaries linked against it. Again. So many venvs now lay in ruins.

There has got to be a better way.

(Why do pyenv-built pythons seem to habitually get built using the brew-provided libraries? There's no way for brew to know about that dependency.)

I don't want to cheerlead for #google because they are making the world a worse place every damn day. However, being forced to use #Office354 from #microsoft for the past few months has made me wistful for gDocs, gSheets, and google Slides. It's weird how much worse Microsoft's online office stuff works, minute to minute. Obvious features are just missing (I've heard they were basically nuked around 2019), and there's just so much of the mundane functionality, like basic editing, use of keyboard shortcuts, folder navigation, etc. that just sucks. I mean it works inconsistently in many cases, and simply fails to work (when it is advertised as being a feature) in others. Ugh. I want to stop using office stuff on the internet. I don't know if I can, however.

I think living in Tokyo has made me super impatient about delivery of online orders. Now that I'm back in flyover country, USA, anything I order takes way too long. It has to go to Dallas, then, for some reason, up to Kansas City before going to Oklahoma City. Then Tulsa, before arriving in Broken Arrow. smh

Also, it doesn't help when the vendor takes an *entire eight days* to make a shipping label and drop it off for shipment. Now, another week to arrive from CA.
