C'est officialisé par le ministère indien des Affaires étrangères : le pays renonce à accueillir la COP33 sur le climat en 2028. Une décision surprenante puisque c'est Narendra Modi lui-même qui avait fait acte de candidature pour accueillir la conférence internationale sur le climat.

The Indian government has quietly withdrawn its offer to host the #COP33 climate summit in 2028 citing some immediate commitments in 2028. Though no official clarification has been issued so far.
Prime Minister #Narendramodi had announced in 2023, during COP28 in Dubai, that India wished to host COP33.
The move had support from the #BRICS group—#Brazil, #Russia, #India, #China and #Southafrica. #Climatechange #CoP33 #UNFCCC
