New at my Patreon... Every year at the end of March, the sleepy gold rush town of Clunes is invaded by book lovers from around Australia. They're heading to the Clunes Booktown Festival, a mammoth celebration of books which takes over the town. Here's what it was like today:

I'm at Melbourne's Southern Cross station, about to depart by train for Clunes for the annual Booktown Festival. There's a bunch of other book lovers on the train. :)
FYI it's quite doable to get to and from the Clunes Booktown Festival via train, same day from Melbourne (this is what I'm doing tomorrow):

Nice hotel here in Ballarat. looking forward to the Clunes Book Town Festival over the weekend. Apparently Telstra (local Tel Co) are bringing a portable cell-tower to help with phone coverage, so the vendors can all get decent cell service for their Squares. I didn't even know they could do that. So, come say hi if you're in the region.
