Had a chat with a #Podiatrist today - the next step that was reccommended to me in dealing with my #ChronicPain from #CTEV - and they have suggested that I start with custom made insoles.

Will see how those go, but she did say that I may have to get custom made shoes, as my feet are super odd (wider than they are long, higher arch on one side, random numb patches in several places on my soles .. etc)

I just want to be able to take a walk for longer than 15 minutes, and not have it lead to days and days of stiffness and pain. If the insoles can do that, maybe I can put off having to get the expensive custom shoes.

No idea if this link works or not, but… my youngest son was born with a #Clubfoot and it was fixed with the Ponseti method as described in this article. So cheap and simple to fix, there really is no excuse for children to suffer with clubfoot in any part of the world. Good to see some publicity on this topic.
