BizThe proper #clowning technique to critique what is happening is #buffooning . These men are not clowns, clowning is meant to exhibit pathos (we feel bad for the sad clown when he gets a pie in the face and identify with the sad clown). Whereas buffooning is meant to give the audience catharsis (we feel schadenfreude when the #buffoon gets a pie in the face and identify with the pie-er). All can have the red nose but i'm feeling pedantic about clowning's reputation in regards to #uspol rhetoric
