In. #ClanLord, there is a very low population. But that means there’s no griefer since most people have met each other. It is also, any cool people friendly.

I got some great feedback on the #music I’m writing for #ClanLord. I’m just starting to learn this stuff, so #feedback early on is helpful.

to make an instrument requires rare raw material. I became a #bard questor & never found more than a bone flute (not a fan of the sound). Composition is all in CLTF [ #ClanLord Tune Format ], it is a neat little “language” and does many of the things #music does — it can’t bend notes and minimum note lengths are 1/8. It uses General #MIDI to actually play your #songs. This is the only game I’ve seen that allows player created music.

So, If I haven’t mentioned it. #ClanLord allows players to compose & play their own #music for others — no copyrighted songs may be played or else Delta Tao could get in trouble. I have recently started learning #songwriting in order to entertain myself & others in game. You have to become a bard questor and audition in front of at least 3–4 other bards. I haven’t earned my staff just yet, but it is really fun playing with rhythm and melody. I wish I would have learned music theory decades ago!

For those not in the know #ClanLord is an persistent online RPG. The player base is very very small, but this means there are no griefers or snerts because to advance past the first few circles you NEED to work w/others. So it is a safe space for women & anyone that doesn’t like harassment. I encourage anyone that loves slow build RPGSs & not as much grinding—hunts R fun. It also has a unique combat mechanic & training that no other RPG can touch: it’s not button mashing, it is mouse movement.
