1) Only got in one #Aikido training day this week, and it was today. It was extra-lovely.
2) #ChristianTissier Sensei comes the first weekend in April to our dojo, and I thought I would miss all his seminar because of family travel. But we land on Saturday and I can squeak in for day 3.
3) Kiddo was DM for the first time for a D&D game for her bestie’s birthday. And she rocked it!

Good first day of the #ChristianTissier seminar. Really hot and crowded but manageable.. afraid of what tomorrow (Saturdays are always more popular) is going to be like.

Spent some time working on going slowly to correct uke's problems on nikkyo (not in a "noo a real attacker wouldn't do that" way but in a "you're giving up your center" way) and concentrating on moving around the axis instead of pushing or pulling.

His nikkyo felt different than others I've felt. I felt nothing until I felt a lightning bolt drop me to my knees when he was explaining it to me and my training partner.

Closest time I can think of when I felt a nikkyo like that might have been when I was starting aikido, probably 5th kyu, and a local shihan did one on me with 1 finger but that was so long ago that I can't really compare.
