postmodernFuuuuuuuck. The escape keycap just broke off after the acrylic dust cover caught the edge of it. Now I have to get that tiny spring to latch back onto the hinges and somehow re-attach it. I guess this is a good excuse to finally use that boom arm microscope I bought for micro-soldering...

postmodernOne issue I noticed with the Cherry KW X ULP keyboard, but luckily it has an easy workaround. By default the F1-F12 keys act as their special functions instead of sending F1, F2, etc. To disable this mode, press Ctrl + Fn to lock the Fn key. Then Ctrl+Alt+F1 should drop you to a Linux TTY terminal like normal.
