#Britain already rebuffed #Zionism in 1913. Because #Turkey fought against Britain and the #AlliedPowers, Lord #Kitchener decided to drive a wedge between #Arabs & #Turks. To Arabs, he dangled independence from Turks, in exchange for their revolt against ruling Turks, but at no point promised them #Palestine
