At least the #NTSB and #FAA seem to not be completely headless and "banned all #MD11 flights until further notice", which is inconvenient for the 3 #CargoFreightAirliners that still operate them in the #USA but something their *diverse fleets can handle.

  • Certainly gonna upset shareholders, managers and make both flight- and maintenance crews pissed, but having an engine rip off at takeoff is obviously not something to be looked over and I'm shure #UPS keeps their fleet maintained to spec cuz if they didn't #EASA would basically ban them from operation on the spot, making it basically impossible for them to survive as one of the only reasons UPS & #FedEx exist is because one can call them up and they'll pickup anything that can be boxed up or ratchet-strapped to a EUR-pallet and they'll yeet that thing anywhere in the world within 48 hours as long as one can pay upfront!

And for #industrial customers or anything #critical, the cost of getting this done is just a mere 'business expense' to bill clients for.
